Final Attack Field at Antietam

After crossing Antietam Creek at Burnside Bridge, Federal troops advanced across these fields from the ridgeline running diagonally in the center of the photo down the hillside to the right and up the other side. The monument on the left is that of the 11th Ohio Infantry.
