Frazier of the 7th Virginia Infantry, 50 years after the battle: “The gray and the blue met at the Henry House on July 21, 1911, and after mingling together for several hours formed in line facing each other, as in 1861, then with the old-time yell advanced on each other, not with guns, but extended hands and brotherly greetings.
